NVIDIA has unveiled its latest GeForce GTX graphics card, the GTX 1060. The new card is positioned as a mid-range option for mainstream gamers, offering high-end graphics performance at an affordable price.

The GTX 1060 is built on NVIDIA's Pascal architecture, which was first introduced in the GTX 1080 and GTX 1070. It features 1280 CUDA cores, 80 texture units, and 48 render output units. The card has a base clock speed of 1506 MHz and a boost clock speed of 1708 MHz.

The GTX 1060 comes with 6GB of GDDR5 memory and supports DirectX 12, Vulkan, and OpenGL 4.5. It also features NVIDIA's GameWorks technology, which provides support for advanced graphical effects and gaming features.

The GTX 1060 is available now from NVIDIA's website and authorized retailers. It is priced at $249 for the Founders Edition model and $229 for the standard model.
